Pictured on the left is the blank wall of a living room where I was commissioned to pain a large trompe l'oeil. The owners required certain items to be in the painting, but the rest was up to my own inspiration.

On the right is the project half way through.

The process involved setting up a high scafolding on which to work. This is difficult because one cannot "step back" to gain the perspective while painting.

Picture on the right is my fine assistant Ron Armstrong who was hired to finish the blank walls in a color that would compliment the artwork.

The picture on the left shows the completed wall, while the picture on the right is a close up of the center piece of the painting.

The trompe l'oeil was not the only item commissioned in this beautiful home on the river in Port Richey.

Here is a before and after picture of the balustrade overlooking the living room.

The columns, arches and railing were painted to exactly resemble marble.

Here is a before and after picture of a niche in the wall.

Previously in plain plaster it was painted to resemble marble and polychrome.
